Major Activities;

• Reconstruction & Rehabilitation of 7,000 houses in three districts Shikarpur, Kashmore and Jacobabad under Union Council Based Poverty Reduction Program.
• 43 villages have been selected where each village has 200-300 houses. These villages have been surveyed by SRSO and approved by Government of Sindh for rehabilitation.
• These villages include:
1. 12 Villages in Kashmore-Kandhkot,
2. 18 Villages in Jacobabad,
3. 13 Villages in Shikarpur.
• The said Project package support comprises of following interventions:
1. Two room houses,
2. Each House to have Hand Pump,Latrine and solar light,
Each village to have sanitation drains and Brick paved streets,
4. Every five houses to share one bio gas plant.

Sindh Agriculture Recovery Program (SARP)

Major Activities;

• The Sindh Agriculture Recovery Program is being implemented by SRSO with the support of USAID and Sindh Abadgar Board (SAB) through RSPN in Jacobabad, Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Larkana, Thatta, Dadu districts.
• This program aims to provide agriculture support for cultivation of sunflower on 101,150 acres of land and will target 50,576 beneficiaries.
• The beneficiaries are flood affected farmers with 1-3 acres of cultivable land and the support provided includes sunflower seeds, fertilizers and mechanical and technical support along with market linkages in order to support their livelihood.
• Training on the sowing, growing, harvesting and post-harvesting processes
• The agri-input support includes:
  1. sunflower seed 2 kg,
  2. 1 bag DAP, 2 bag Urea (50kg) per acre,
  and
  3. cash support for on-farm harvesting and threshing activities.
• Dry Food comprising wheat (50kg-80 Kgs), cooking oil (4.5 Kgs) and high energy biscuits (2.25 Kgs) , Sugar (4 Kgs), tea (0.3 Kgs), pulses (8 Kgs), spices (1 Kg), RUSF (1.5 Kgs), and in some cases 100 Kg Rice in replacement of flour package per Household.

• BAHAL is a country wide relief and early recovery project with support from RSPN and OFDA (USAID) for the flood victims.
• Implemented by SRSO in Kashmore, Shikarpur, Shahdadkot and Jacobabad.
• Support of Emergency Shelters (Transitional One room Shelter i.e: Canvas tarpaulin sheet (12ft. x 18ft.), Bamboo poles and 30 meters Rope );
• WASH (Hygiene Kits, Health and Hygiene Awareness Sessions);
• Water (Hand-Pumps installation and Water Kit);
• Agriculture and Food Security (Agri Inputs: Seeds, Fertilizers and Cash grant for land preparation);
• Animal Feed Supplements.
